The 158-year-old scientist of Sanctuary, who has a keen interest in abnormal creatures and makes all the efforts to save these species, is revealing her source of inspiration, behind her charity and other aspects of the show.
Well, you have guessed it right!

I’m talking about none other than the very graceful and talented actress Amanda Tapping (well-known for her role in Sanctuary).
The actress, in an exclusive interview, disclosed her inspiration towards charity and also revealed a few things about the upcoming episodes of her show.
Amanda has a keen interest in charity and she, with her team of Sanctuary, organizes online auctions of the personal appearances of the characters of the show, props and many other things. The money that is raised by such auctions is donated to a number of small NGO’s and charities.
She is a big supporter of Next Generation Nepal and helps the NGO in the best possible ways. When asked what is common between humanitarians and fans of the sci-fi genre, the actress clearly said that both are passionate about their respective fields.
How thoughtful, Amanda!
The actress also revealed that she asked the writers to introduce the love factor in the fourth season of the show. The idea behind it is, to induce the novelty and to display the feminine side of the actress on the show. This was also done to let people know that Dr. Helen Magnus is not just about saving abnormal creatures, but beyond that too.
Isn’t that a great idea?
Well, undoubtedly it is, because if this idea materializes, fans will get to see their favorite actress kissing and sharing some intimate moments.
The best part is that she is not rigid and said that no matter, male or female, she is comfortable with either gender playing her love interest.
Hoping for the best, and praying that Amanda keeps up her good work!
